Laurie is inspired by people and their eccentricities; the city, buildings and spaces, urban life, urban aesthetics, fifties culture and fashion, burlesque, music, drawing and printmaking.

Laurie graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2004 with a BA in Illustration. She also studied at Rhode Island School of Design while on exchange and at Chelsea College of Art during her foundation year.

Laurie has since worked as an illustrator, graphic designer, printmaker and maker of other items such as musicboxes and books.

Laurie is available for commissions and collaborations. Her prints and products are available in various shops, galleries and online as specified in the Suki Shop.
