A few weeks ago at the Lady Bay Arts Festival Weekend, my daughters Bayma and Indi sold out of their Tiger and Monarch Butterfly Screen Prints. In total they raised a whopping £448! Which means £112 for each of our charities and the same for their money boxes. A massive THANK YOU to everyone who supported them and bought one.
There is more information about our chosen charities below. One of the charities, The School of Hope, interviewed the girls about their work. Take a look at the article here:
🩷 FREY FREY / Cure and Action for Tay-Sachs Foundation 🩷 https://cats-foundation.org/
This one is close to our hearts... Cure and Action for Tay-Sachs Foundation provides support, raises awareness and leads the research for Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff disease. We are donating in honour of our gorgeous little second cousin Freya. She has her own page, telling her story, raising awareness and fundraising. Take a look - https://www.freyfrey.org/
🩷 THE SCHOOL OF HOPE, Guatemala 🩷 https://www.eftcfoundation.org/
This charity has an affiliation with the girl's school. They help young people and families from the Jocotenango area to access quality education, nutritious food, healthcare and social support. They are currently on an emergency fundraising drive for medical supplies.
